Coro y Orquesta MusicAlma. MusicAlma was born in the Basilica of Santa María la Mayor in Linares in 2006, becoming its official choir and orchestra. Over these years, it has turned into a group of reference in sacred music, performing in relevant ceremonies, such as the appointment of the bishop of Jaén in 2016, the beatification of the twentieth-century Martyrs in Almería in 2017. They have also performed at Baza Cathedral and in canon coronations. In a secular context, MusicAlma has performed at the UNIA in Baeza, the Infanta Leonor New Theatre, and the Andrés Segovia Foundation, among other venues. MusicAlma has participated in music festivals like the thirteenth International Festival “Ciudad de La Carolina” (Jaén).
