Josefa Mª Gámez, director

Transatlantic polyphonies

The Real Sociedad Económica Choir from Jaén will perform on this occasion a repertoire marked by eclecticism. This music belongs both to Spanish and colonial traditions, with an important presence of Renaissance and Baroque villancicos, and to European traditions, including composers such as Händel, Bach and Mozart. This varied repertoire shares a common feature: the fusion of a variety of popular and educated, early and modern traditions.
